Glass fiber chopped mat is produced by cutting glass fiber roving cakes (or twisted yarns) into approximately 50mm long fibers, which are then randomly deposited on a stainless steel mesh belt to form a mat. Subsequently, the chopped fibers are bonded together by spraying adhesive or water, or by sprinkling powdered adhesive. After that, they are subjected to high-temperature drying and cooling to form either emulsion chopped mat or powder chopped mat.
